Located at the Glendale Americana, Tiffany’s went all in on this second store built since the LVMH rebrand. Ferrante Koberling did a full build – out on the interior and then a façade changes post store opening. The design is based on Peter Marino’s designs for the flagship store in New York.
Our second time renovating this location. We first built a Gucci in the space that was very boudoir in design. This time around the space has been reimagined in a darker minimalist style. Custom concrete, decorative metal detailing and glass come together beautifully to fully represent the brand in built form.
Grand Seiko is positioned at the mid – point of Rodeo Drive housed in the Rodeo Collection. This small minimalist build with clean lines represents the brand fully; simple, clean and precise. Details were refined to bring this project to life.
This small space is a show piece for the brand. With custom made wood glazing system and beautiful stone and plaster interior the space glows when illuminated. It is a special jewel located on the first floor of South Coast Plaza.
Stone clad interior walls make this building feel like a Milanese 1930s institutional building. The coffered ceilings with stark lighting an bright white paint juxtapose the highly finished terrazzo floors. The clothing hung on minimal fixtures.
This is very classic luxury retail space, beautifully designed and constructed for Omega. Located at Glendale Americana in Los Angeles the space houses two floors of pure elegance. This was an interior / exterior build completed with a close eye on detail.
Ferrante Koberling deconstructed an existing building on Melrose Avenue from the 1950 / 1960s to house the future flagship of Toteme in Los Angeles. The project entailed major structural changes including a full façade change and complete interior build – out.
This tinny jewel box is a shop in shop located in Nieman Marcus Beverly Hills. This is a highly detailed space with lacquer paneling and a highly customized façade. Beautiful in its simplicity for such a small and unique space.

This is a traditional luxury women’s shoe store. Clean display and millwork features. Beautiful custom furniture punctuating the wood floors. Just enough lighting to keep a warm feel and tone. We did a complete interior build and new stone façade.
This two store retail store was a full interior / exterior build. Both the façade and interior are cladded in cement tiles in perfect alignment. The interior is also noted in the signature Bottega Veneta millwork fixtures. Simple minimalist elegance
The space was designed to feel like the interior of a yacht. The nautical ship deck wood flooring and plaster walls provide a very Mediterranean meets Central Coastal California vibe. The space is small but simple and elegant as is always with Zegna.
Located at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel this specific Bottega Veneta has a very unique location specific design. The exterior is architecturally traditional while the interior is very contemporary with complex geometry and beautifully crafted millwork.
One of two locations we built for Fendi in Saks Fifth Avenue Bevely Hills. Much like the Nieman Marcus space we created, this is beautifully crafted contemporary space. Clean lines and beautiful finish aid in accentuating the clothing and accessories.
A small, elegant shop in shop located in Niman Marcus Beverly Hills. In tradition of Fendi stores this classic luxury design is accentuated by beautiful stone floors and well-crafted millwork. A true outpost of classic luxury.
A prime example of classic / contemporary retail store. Sleek finishes, mirrored surfaces and mix of soft and hard flooring makes this a clean elegant space. Located on the second floor of the venerated South Coast Plaza.
This is the first Toteme store located in Los Angeles. Built at the Palisades Village, the Toteme store was a complete interior / exterior build. With a very elegant and minimalistic style, the store highlights the clothing minimizing the décor.
This is the first west coast location for On. The project included major structural seismic upgrades. The building was stripped down to the framing, new foundations put in and a complete interior build – out. Completed in record time for such a major reconstruction of a 1920’s building. The On team was able to show its contemporary brand with a newly imagined storefront.
Every detail in this location was custom made specifically for this location; dibond radius ceilings, veneer plaster make – up and center table stations, the custom millwork and furniture. Much effort went in to getting these details correct and executed for this clients second US location.
This was a very special project located in the heart of West Hollywood. Gucci Atelier was the first private salon by the brand. The space was for private showings / fittings for decerning clients. Designed as a one off specialty
Unfortunately, this build did not last the fall of the brand. Completed and closed two months after opening. Designed by Gensler to be a clean minimalistic home to represent the potentials of electric motor vehicles. Ferrante Koberling did a full interior / exterior build bringing this sort lived showroom to life.
Beautiful wood finishing is the highlight of this space. Custom millwork and milled ceilings punctuate the white walls. The glasses are backlight on the display cases and mirrors built in for viewing.
This is a small beautifully simple store located off of Rodeo. Very simple in design with clean moves. The decorative hanging design elements accent the architecture of the lofted space.
A quick refresh was conducted prior to the season start for the Zegna team. Located in the heart of Aspen, Ferrante Koberling assisted in a cosmetic upgrade to the interior / exterior of this pre – existing space.
Part of a larger complex of two restaurants and a takeaway counter, this bar was an existing restaurant we fully repositioned. Full rebuild out of the front of house was to create a fun playful casual experience.
This Nikkei Peruvian Cuisine restaurant located in the heart of Silverlake Los Angeles hosts one of the best outdoor patios. The interior is simple in design but comfortable. The back patio is the heart of the restaurant with its wood trellis covered in vines.
The James Perse store is the second location at the Malibu Lumber Yard. The space was constructred by combining four existing retail spaces and combining them into one large open floor plan. Ferrante Koberling created a full interior exterior build for this location.
Housing nineteenth century masterpieces, 19 C Gallery is located in the Heart of Beverly Hills. The space is a highly designed contemporary location with double curvature light elements and highly custom wood flooring and boissiere wood trim work.
Located in a tucked away neighborhood in Culver City. Ferrante Koberling built a second home on an existing property. Every system on the project was custom made to fit the complex geometry of this home. The exterior is cladded in a cement board panel system with an underlay rainscreen.
This location was two separate retail spaces, hold overs from the prior developments of the Miami Design District. Ferrante Koberling demolished both units combining them into one large unit. A full interior / exterior build – out was conducted to provide the On team with their third US location.
Built as a spec suite in a repositioned warehouse, this silicon beach office suite was designed to house a potential tech firm. Major structural interior and exterior work was conducted. A entry extension and second floor conference room create a deconstructed box opening up the front of the building.
A full interior / exterior construction was required for the Zegna flagship located on Rodeo Drive. This highly tailored space was crafted with great precision and detailing. Many of the elements are costume made by Ferrante Koberling such as the main stairs cladded in stainless steel ascending to the second floor.
The building once housed an electrical Edison power station. Ferrante Koberling aided in repositioning the building into law offices for Guderson Dettmar. Located in two structures, this space was boken up into a series of offices and exterior spaces.
The original building at this site was a two-story Tudor style office located in the heart of Studio City / North Hollywood. The structures façade and interior were completely removed. Major structural upgrades made and a full interior build – out completed.
This restaurant was a full interior / exterior build. The existing bar restaurant that was located at the location was raised. Ferrante Koberling built every feature in the bar location including the furniture. This highly custom bar was an early FK restaurant project and help illustrate the progression from which we started in the hospitality sector.
One of our firms many early projects, TVG LA Offices were some of the first to be built in the tech area later to be branded silicon beach. This space was created in what once was a distribution warehouse. The second floor was opened in the center, creating an atrium with offices flanking all sides.
The Trousdale residence was a development spec home project created with esteemed Mexican architect duo Miguel and Rafael Aragones. Located in Trousdale Estates the house was a simple 1950’s ranch repositioned into a sleek modernist sanctuary. Everything is custom made specifically for the house including the furniture. The house was sold to Orlando Bloom and has been featured on several television shows.
